Cromford looks to the future

AFPM has rebranded to Cromford Group, leveraging the company’s history and experience in Plastics Recycling with its new position as Australia’s preferred infrastructure delivery partner.

Effective 1 October 2009, Australian Film and Pipe Manufacturers (AFPM) will rebrand to Cromford Group Pty Ltd (Cromford). The decision to rebrand reflects Cromford's determination to shape the company to be more customer focused, innovative and sustainability minded. 

Cromford have established 3 business divisions to meet this change in focus:

  • Cromford Pipe is the renamed business division for the former AFPM
  • Cromford Film is the renamed business division for the former Cromford Plastics
  • Cromford Recycle is the new business division designed to extend the recycling business activity.

With a renewed focus on "people, planet and profits", Cromford seeks to be industry leaders in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability and to attract supply chain partners with this same vision.

Andrew Luxton, CEO says, "we have made significant investments in recent months to position our business to capitalise on the strengths of our people, continue to deliver exceptional products and service, and focus more on sustainability in the future." 

The timing of the rebrand also reflects the completion of a new production facility at Moss Vale, south of Sydney.  The Moss Vale plant is features state of the art technology, ensuring customers obtain materials made to order and made to stock in a timely manner and at the right price.
